Books

[edit]

Please stop adding books that aren't used to reference the article to reference sections. If added anywhere they should be in "Further reading". Also, they all seem rather old, though some are classics. What are your selection criteria? Johnbod (talk) 18:52, 5 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

IMDb

[edit]

Hi, please don't keep adding dozens of IMDb links. It is not considered a reliable or useful source. Thank you. See [WP:IMDB]] Anna (talk) 23:42, 15 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

To the best of my recollection, I have not used the IMDB as a source for any Wikipedia content. I have only included IMDB as an external link. According to the Wikipedia guide on external links (SEE: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:External_links/Perennial_websites#IMDb), the IMDB is considered acceptable: "As an external link: Generally yes, if the subject of the entire page is exactly the same as the subject of the IMDb page that you're linking." Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Man and Superman, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page David Wheeler. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
