The Premium Reviewer Barnstar
But also appreciation! I don't think said anything at the time—completely ignorantly—and promptly forgot. But I never thanked you for reviewing and cleaning up a GA of mine ages ago. That went beyond the call of duty, and represents the spirit of Wikipedia distilled. Thanks ever so much! ——Serial Number 54129 14:59, 21 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I appreciate it a lot, @Serial Number 54129. Clearly you had not expected to have your article reviewed while you were out on wikibreak, and I figured this would just sit too long if not done. Sammi Brie (she/her • tc) 15:05, 21 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Notice

The article XEAZ-AM has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Fails WP:GNG, lacks significant coverage (not merely mentions in lists or directories) in multiple independent secondary sources - redirect to Grupo Radio Centro.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Dan arndt (talk) 03:40, 31 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@Dan arndt Deprodded, but wanted to make you aware—a lot of Mexican radio station pages are likely to end up as state-list redirects soon. The holdup is that several state lists need changing over to more modern styles, and there are still two that do not exist (I have filled three gaps and am likely to take on the remaining two soon). The sourcing depth in Mexico, across the board, is just obscured by lack of older offline sourcing that would be crucial. Sammi Brie (she/her • tc) 06:24, 31 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Newspapers.com

How are you dealing with Newspapers.com not working with TWL? wizzito | say hello! 02:09, 1 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

There is a large Phab ticket phab:T322916 you should follow. The main issue is that Newspapers.com inserted some Cloudflare code including a login captcha that the proxy is not dealing with very well. I have had some major real-life issues, so my output is less anyway, and I've been focusing on markets in other services (like GenealogyBank) as well as some gnoming tasks including completing the set of Mexico state radio lists. @BeanieFan11 Why, thank you! If you ever get tired of NFL topics, there are several more ISU women's retired numbers that don't have articles. Fun fact — I found Tonya while GA reviewing Audi Crooks, and that project led me to National Women's Basketball Association, which I wrote back in March. I just didn't get to Tonya until now. story · music · places

Congratulations, and thank you today for KNXV-TV, introduced: "Pound-for-pound, the most interesting TV station in Phoenix is probably the one with an N for "News" in its call sign yet which mocked local newscasts with the "Bluebird of Happinews" in its early years. After years of funding-related delays, KNXV turned up in 1979 as the first new English-language TV station in Phoenix in 12 years. It got built mostly as a conduit for ON TV programming (and is part of the ON TV Good Topic), but cable became widespread enough by 1983 that it was one of the first markets where the company withdrew. After being sold to Scripps-Howard Broadcasting and affiliating with Fox in 1986, KNXV found its stride and eclipsed heritage KPHO-TV, a station that failed to get with the times, as the leading independent station in the market. Plans for a newscast became reality in 1994—in time to be scrambled by a huge affiliation realignment which sent ABC to 15. In spite of substantial early promise and a style distinguishing it from its four competitors, News 15 scuffled hard after changes in management and talent. More recently, the station has expanded its news output and improved its quality, as demonstrated by two Peabody Awards in consecutive years."! --Gerda Arendt (talk) 05:49, 9 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
