License tagging for Image:Water white.png

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Water white.png. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 11:08, 19 May 2007 (UTC)

A tag has been placed on Indian water industry, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising which only promotes a company, product, group or service and which would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the general criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 11, as well as the guidelines on spam.

If you can indicate why the subject of this article is not blatant advertising, you may contest the tagging. To do this, please add {{hangon}} on the top of the page and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would help make it encyclopedic, as well as adding any citations from reliable sources to ensure that the article will be verifiable. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. RTucker 14:04, 19 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Water management. Wikipedia is not a mere directory of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam policy for further explanations. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, then please discuss it on the article's talk page before reinserting it. Thank you. — Indon (reply) — 08:54, 21 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop. If you continue to ignore our policies by introducing inappropriate pages, such as Indian water industry, to Wikipedia, you will be blocked. — Indon (reply) — 09:01, 21 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

This is your last warning. The next time you insert a spam link, as you did to Water management, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Persistent spammers may have their websites blacklisted as well, preventing anyone from linking to them from any site that uses the MediaWiki spam blacklist, which includes all of Wikimedia and Wikipedia. — Indon (reply) — 09:02, 21 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop linkspamming

[edit]

At least two editors have reverted your WP:LINKSPAM edits at The Dark Knight Rises, The Expendables 2 and other movies. If you continue, an admin will be notified. I note you have been [{WP:BLOCK|blocked]] in the past for non-constructive edits. --Tenebrae (talk) 21:29, 27 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
