File:A tombstone with Sue Rangell's name on it (joke).jpg (delete | talk | history | links | logs) – uploaded by Sue Rangell (notify | contribs | uploads | upload log).

This file doesn't seem to be useful to Wikipedia nor any other Wikimedia projects. As of this nomination, this file is only in use at User talk:Sue Rangell/The Last Word (excluding User:Multichill/Free uploads/2013-01-15) and has a redirect page at File:A tombstone with my name on it.jpg. Wikipedia is not a blog, Web hosting service, social networking service, or memorial site and for that reason, I am nominating this file for deletion. MJ94 (talk) 03:15, 22 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

At the time of this nomination, the file was not in use on any substantial essay. Had it been at the time, I would not have put the file up for a deletion discussion. Following the recent inclusion in an essay related to Wikipedia, I withdraw this request. MJ94 (talk) 04:46, 30 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Strong KEEP I use this file in my own user space, on an essay. I don't see where this file is doing any harm to Wikipedia, and frankly, do not even understand the interest in it. The file is one of two files that I may use to make a particular point in that essay, and therefore is quite important. One read of the essay will demonstrate it's importance. The file has nothing to do with any blog entries, social networking, memorial, etc. And certainly isn't simply being hosted by Wikipedia. It is an important part of one of my projects. Thank you. --Sue Rangell 22:49, 22 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

File:GNOME 3.10 Title Bar Wireframes.png (delete | talk | history | links | logs) – uploaded by Mikemeowz (notify | contribs | uploads | upload log).

development sketch of a new GNOME version, but used (without any detailed discussion) in the article about an alleged new operating system, to which Gnome is not specific. Fails NFCC#8. Fut.Perf. 10:40, 22 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete This image would mean practically nothing to everyone but a few. This definitely doesn't belong in an encyclopedia. (However, the image is not non-free, as both GNOME and Cencoft OS are released under a free, Wikimedia-compatible GNU license.) ~HueSatLum 23:59, 22 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

File:Civilization4-Tech tree.png (delete | talk | history | links | logs) – uploaded by KNVercingetorix (notify | contribs | uploads | upload log).

While this image page does acknowledge the Non-free use rationale for the image, the file itself is too small to be readable or to be of any encyclopedic use. Unless it's someone intimate enough with the game to know how the Civilization 4 Tech Tree works, no one's going to really know what all the little boxes and barely noticeable faint lines connecting them really mean. Even on the article page itself there's very little this image adds to the general outline of the game concepts, and its placement in that section of the article is particularly jarring with the rest of the article. Lastly, all the nodes of the tech tree is mainly just violating the article guidelines for video game articles, which try to discourage the sort of minutiae and detail this image is presenting.
