Basic information

[edit]

The vandal does not have any known accounts, they are operating as IP.

Targeted areas, pages, themes

[edit]

They target articles on Russian living politicians, such as Valentina Matviyenko, Alexei Navalny, Tatyana Golikova, Alisher Usmanov, Alina Kabaeva, Dmitry Rogozin, Dmitry Peskov, and many others.

Habitual behavior

[edit]

They insert obscenities in Russian, transliterated Russian, and (rarely) English into these articles, and leave obscene edit summaries. Typically obscenities are directed at Vladimir Putin and some of the politicians, not necessarily the article subjects. They started with standartized summaries, and a dedicated edit filter had to be written to stop this. After that, they started to customize summaries. From one IP they make one, two, or three edits, and they disappear. Usually they operate once per day every day (from a new IP).
