- This is clearly not {{PD-text}}, as its currently tagged. The image is a players card which is mostly an image of Bert Hodson, with just a bit of text. Nick—Contact/Contribs 18:07, 13 August 2015 (UTC)
- Thanks for the reminder, Nick. I wasn't positive about this file myself. Even though what I've uploaded is a copy of what I already own, that doesn't change the fact that a copyright may be claimed. If you think it is better that it be deleted, please do so. I'd rather be safe than sorry. Besides, it is a rather poor quality image anyway. --EditorExtraordinaire (talk) 20:32, 13 August 2015 (UTC)

The result of the discussion was: Deleted. We have no way to determine whether or not the image was released under the specified license. Diannaa (talk) 14:10, 21 August 2015 (UTC)
- File:Usher Morgan IMDB.jpg (delete | talk | history | logs).
- Says from imdb, and Creative Commons. Don't see it currently on imdb but generally suspicious CutOffTies (talk) 18:43, 13 August 2015 (UTC)
It was on IMDB when I posted this, what are the rules concerning a photo that was on IMDB but then changed or removed? — Preceding unsigned comment added by EddieMoore26 (talk • contribs) 19:03, 13 August 2015 (UTC)

The result of the discussion was: Deleted. (1) The OTRS ticket does not specify a license. (2) The photographer objects to the image appearing in article space without a byline, which is something we don't normally include. Diannaa (talk) 14:12, 21 August 2015 (UTC)
- File:Model rs3 bridge.jpg (delete | talk | history | logs).
Author complaining that WP attribution isn't adequate for them.
This isn't a great image: it has an odd black shadow at the top and the subject is unremarkable. We have plenty of similar images to use instead. If there's the slightest issue with its acceptable use, our simplest route is to delete it. Andy Dingley (talk) 23:44, 13 August 2015 (UTC)
- The uploader, Fourdee (talk · contribs), chose the license
{{cc-by-sa-2.5}}
which is a free license compatible with Wikipedia. Wikipedia:Upload/Uploadtext/en-ownwork says "All user-created images must be released under a free license. For purposes of Wikipedia, "free" does not merely mean that you don't charge for it, but it means that you allow everyone to use, alter, and redistribute your work for any purpose. This release is not revocable." Probably, they did not read or understand this properly. --Redrose64 (talk) 11:52, 14 August 2015 (UTC)
- Fourdee (talk · contribs) isn't the author or the rights holder, "Roger Traviss" is. At the very least, it would require OTRS recording of the permission. Andy Dingley (talk) 22:11, 14 August 2015 (UTC)
- Surely that was done in this edit? There's a link to the OTRS ticket in the edit summary. --Redrose64 (talk) 22:43, 14 August 2015 (UTC)
- If OTRS exists, we're supposed to list it on the page where it can be seen, not hide a hint in an edit summary that it might exist. Andy Dingley (talk) 22:45, 14 August 2015 (UTC)

- Please see WP:OTRSN for more information about the (IMO insufficient) licensing information in the original OTRS ticket. ☺ · Salvidrim! · ✉ 15:36, 19 August 2015 (UTC)
