About me

[edit | edit source]

Hello. I'm Syeda, an undergraduate student. As I work through this exciting (and sometimes challenging) unit, I'm eager to dive into the topisc, explore new ideas, and apply them to my final projects. What excite me the most about this unit is the chance to explore mmotivation and emotion and to understand how they play out in everyday life.

Hobbies

[edit | edit source]

While I might not have any unsual (or interesting) hobbies, I definitely enjoy the things I do to unwind and recharge:

  • Driving: it's my favourite way to clear my head and enjoy some alone time.
  • Jigsaw puzzles: nothing beats the satisfaction of fitting all the pieces together!
  • Walking: I find peace in nature especially summer evening walks are the best!
  • Video games: I like easy fun games to just relax.

Book chapter I'm working on

[edit | edit source]
Sunrise from my palce, it's been a while since I caught one like this

Morning routine and motivation: How can a morning routine be used to facilitate motivation, productivity, and well-being?

I chose this topic becasue I have personally felt how a morning routine affects my focus and energy. I am not a morning person, so it is tough for me to do anything productive early in the day. But I'm working on it and making my mornings a bit more productive each day. This chapter is not just an academic exercise for me; it's something I'm genuinely interested in, especially how psychology can improve daily life. I hope to give readers some practical tips they can use to improve their own routines and see real benefits.
