About me

Hi everyone, my name is Jana and I am currently studying a Bachelor of Business and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology here at the University of Canberra. I currently work in an administrative role at a local mental health clinic, and my favorite part of the job is seeing how the theoretical knowledge I gain throughout my studies is applied in a clinical and practical way. My Book Chapter

The chapter I am working on is Treatment Motivation in Juvenile Delinquency. I am looking at what motivates justice involved youth to engage and commit to treatment, as well as some factors which can influence and increase treatment motivation. So far, I have found the research relating to theoretical perspectives on treatment motivation really interesting, and I look forward to exploring this more in-depth as I go on to write the complete chapter.
