- rest, repose, relaxation, the temporary cessation from activity to rest and recover, especially in the form of sleep
- Synonym: استراحت (istirahat)
- fun, amusement, entertainment, enjoyment, any activity designed to give diversion or relaxation to an audience
- music, a series of sounds organized in time, usually employing some combination of harmony, melody and rhythm
