- A term used as headword in names of certain weak inorganic acids.
- rikkihapoke ― sulphurous acid (compare rikkihappo (“sulphuric acid”))
- typpihapoke ― nitrous acid (compare typpihappo (“nitric acid”))

[edit]In English, the same distinction is often indicated by using the suffix -ous instead of -ic in the attributive part of the name.
