  1. fruit of some Primulaceae (Cape myrtle Myrsine africana[1][2][3] or Rapanea rhododendroides[3]); purple in color, turning to light brown when fully ripe,[2] used as a general stomach medicine[2] and as an anthelmintic[1]
    kũrũra ta ngaita - bitter like the ngaita[4]
