Les Yeux de la faim (בעברית: עיני הרעב) הוא סינגל שהוקלט על ידי הזמרת-יוצרת הקנדית-צרפתייה סלין דיון, במסגרת השותפות שלה עם קרן קוויבק-אפריקה.[1] השיר יצא לאור ב-13 במאי 1985, כסינגל שלא מתוך אלבום וכשיר צדקה שנועד לגייס כספים.[2][1] השיר יצא כתוצאה מצאת שיר הצדקה "We Are the World".[3]

השיר הגיע למקום הראשון במצעד שבקוויבק.[4]

שלל אמנים נענו בחיוב כאשר הוצע להם להקליט את השיר. ביניהם ניתן למנות את: סלין דיון, ניקול מרטין, ורוניק בלוופל, דניאל לבואה, מרטין סנט-קלייר, מישל ריבארד, ז'אן-פייר פרלנד, ז'יל ויניאולט, סילבי טרמבליי, ננט וורקמן, רוברט לרו, פאטסי גלאנט, רנה סימארד, נטאלי סימארד, נורמנד ברתווייט ואמנים נוספים.[1]

איגוד תעשיית ההקלטות הקנדי העניק לשיר את תואר הזהב, על מכירות של למעלה מ-50,000 עותקים במדינה.[5]

פרסים

בשנת 1986 העניק PROCAN פרסים מיוחדים לכותבי השיר גיל קורטמנצ'ה וג'ין רוביטייל ולקרן קוויבק-אפריקה, במטרה להכיר תודה על תרומתם.[6] כותבי השיר קורטמנצ'ה ורוביטייל היו מועמדים לפרס פליקס, בקטגוריית "כותבי השנה", אך לא הצליחו לזכות בו, היות שהפסידו לקורי הארט.[7]
