Česlovas Venclovas

Česlovas Venclovas (g. 1964 m. gegužės 17 d. Raseinių raj. Nolėčių kaime) – Lietuvos bioinformatikas.

Biografija

1989 m. baigė biochemiją VU Chemijos fakultete. 1993 m. apgynė disertaciją Maskvos universitete, Gamtos mokslų daktaras (Ph. D.). Dirba VU Biotechnologijos institute, Bioinformatikos skyriaus vadovu. 2008 m. apdovanotas Lietuvos mokslo premija už darbų ciklą „Bioinformatikos metodų kūrimas ir jų taikymas baltymų struktūrai, funkcijai ir evoliucijai tirti (1994–2007 m.)“.
