At Wikimania 2024 in Katowice, Poland, a Global GLAM-Wiki meetup brought together more than 30 Wikimedians to share and discuss the challenges of contributing cultural and heritage content to the Wikimedia projects. Meeting to prepare monthly global GLAM-Wiki calls

One of the wishes that was voiced at this GLAM global meetup was a desire for a periodic global online call for people who work at the intersection of cultural heritage and Wikimedia, or GLAM-Wiki. This regular call will help to regularly learn about each others' work, discuss issues, and exchange knowledge.

The call will take place starting in October or November and will be held every month, at alternating times of the day, accommodating a variety of time zones. Additional organizers and moderators are very welcome! If you are interested to help, leave a message on the Meta talk page of User:Spinster or reach out to Kamila (kamila.neumanwikimedia.pl) or Michelle (vanlanschotwikimedia.org) if you want to get involved! We look forward to hearing from you!
