Đorđe Balašević (Serbian Cyrillic: Ђорђе Балашевић; 11 May 1953 – 19 February 2021[1]) was a Serbian and Yugoslav singer-songwriter and musician. He was born in Novi Sad, PR Serbia. His genres were folk, soft rock, pop and chanson.

Balašević died on 19 February 2021 in Novi Sad from pneumonia caused by COVID-19, aged 67.[2][3]
