Rose Perica Mofford (June 10, 1922 – September 15, 2016) was an American civil servant and politician. Mofford was the first female Secretary of State of Arizona serving from 1977 to 1988. She then became the first female Governor of Arizona serving from 1988 to 1991.[1] Mofford was a member of the Democratic Party.

Mofford was born in Globe, Arizona.[2] She died on September 15, 2016, from complications from a fall while under hospice care in Phoenix, aged 94.
