Tyla Laura Seethal (born January 30, 2002), known by her pseudonym Tyla, is an indigenous South African singer and songwriter.[5] She was born and raised in Johannesburg and signed to Epic Records in 2021 following the domestic success of her debut single "Getting Late" featuring Kooldrink.[4] She gained recognition with her 2023 single, Water from her debut single" Tyla".
