This template is used as a part of speech header for nouns.
Usage
{{noun | 1 = Singular term | 2 = Plural term | 3 = Second plural term }}
Examples
- Standard nouns
For nouns that just add "s" in the plural, add {{noun}}
to the page to make:
- Nouns with different plurals from the standard
For other nouns, use {{noun|leaf|leaves}}
to make:
- Nouns with the same singular and plural
For nouns where the plural is the same as the singular, use {{noun|moose|moose}}
to make:
- Nouns with two different plurals
For nouns with two different plurals, use {{noun|index|indexes|indices}}
to make:
- Nouns with no plurals
For nouns with no plural, use {{noun|steel|none}}
to make:
