Stephanie Edwards, född den 12 augusti 1975, professionellt känd under artistnamnet Sparkle, är en amerikansk, guld-säljande R&B-sångerska, mest känd i USA för sin radiohit, "Be Careful", från 1998.
Sparkle upptäcktes av musikproducenten R. Kelly och signerades till hans Rockland Records. Sångerskans debutalbum Sparkle släpptes den 18 maj 1998 och klättrade till en 3:e respektive 2:a plats på USA:s Billboard 200 och Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Albums. Skivan blev en kommersiell smash-hit i sångerskans hemland och certifierades med guldstatus av RIAA[1]. Albumes ledande singel, "Be Careful", blev en enorm radiohit och klättrade till en 3:e plats på Billboards Rhythmic Top 40 och blir Sparkles framgångsrikaste musiksingel till dato. Efter ett kortare uppehåll och ett skivbolagsbyte till Motown Records, släpptes uppföljaren, Told You So, år 2000[2]. Albumet underpresterade dessvärre kraftigt på de flesta musiklistorna i USA och blev en kommersiell besvikelse för Sparkle och hennes skivbolag. Första singeln, "It's A Fact", tog sig till en 62:a plats på USA:s R&B-lista[3].
År 2002 identifierade Sparkle sin fjortonåriga systerdotter och R. Kelly tillsammans på en videofilm medan de hade sexuellt umgänge. Följaktligen vittnade Sparkle i en rättegång om barnpornografi mot före detta mentorn R. Kelly. Målet avslutades år 2008 med att Kelly frisläpptes då det inte kunde bevisas vem flickan var i filmen[4][5].
Enligt uppgift jobbar Sparkle för närvarande på sitt tredje studioalbum, Split Decision.
