Marvel The Transformers comics
Goldbug, Slapdash, Joyride, and Getaway traveled to Nebulos to find appropriate facilities to rebuild Optimus Prime. However, Dreadwing had arrived much earlier and was terrorizing the planet with its Powermaster-fueled might. When the Autobots underwent the Powermaster upgrade as well, Dreadwind and Darkwing were defeated. The Decepticons' Nebulon partners, Hi-Test and Throttle were banished from the planet, and took off aboard Dreadwing. People Power!
At the notoriously robophobic Grand Central Space Station, Dreadwing (erroneously addressed as "Darkwind") remained in vehicle mode and didn't speak, in order to avoid attracting hostile attention. Dreadwing assisted Hi-Test and Throttle in their scheme of capturing robots to deliver to the Mecannibals, including Landmine and Cloudburst. Guess Who the Mecannibals Are Having for Dinner?
Later, Dreadwing and the Nebulans attacked those selfsame Autobot Pretenders as they traveled from Femax back to the Station, but they were surprised and defeated by Sky Lynx. They ended up on the run from the Mecannibals when the Autobots spilled the beans about Dreadwing being a pair of (presumably tasty) robots. Recipe for Disaster!
During a mission to recover a power cell that Throttle had stolen, Fireflight and Skydive pursued Dreadwing and accidentally shot him down over the ocean. Dreadwing remained disabled while the Autobots recovered the power cell from the water and left. Dreadwing Down!
After stealing a copy of Optimus Prime's programming from Ethan Zachary, Darkwing and Dreadwind used their Dreadwing form to escape the pursuing Autobots. They were once more in this form when Scorponok tasked them to launch a smart missile that would track Optimus Prime down wherever he went. After launching the payload, equipped with a camera so the Decepticons could witness Optimus's demise, the duo doubled back to watch the show. It didn't amount to much, as the missile had already been reprogrammed into being a dud thanks to Getaway's efforts. Prime Bomb!
Dreadwind and Darkwing were recruited in secret by Megatron to bring him the corpse of the Underbase-destroyed Starscream. En-route to Earth, the two Powermasters, in their combined form, crossed paths with an Autobot shuttlecraft, and decided to shoot it down for sport. During the chase, the Autobots nearly made Dreadwing crash into the outer rim of a crater on the Moon by blinding their pursuers with a smokescreen. Dreadwing proved to simply be too maneuverable however, and made a sharp ninety-degree turn to avoid the impact. Dreadwind and Darkwing decided to separate to continue the chase, managing in due course to blast the shuttle and send it tumbling down into the Earth's atmosphere. Race with the Devil
Some time after, Dreadwing was active during the Decepticon invasion of Klo. The Last Autobot? Once the Autobots arrived, Dreadwing destroyed Getaway after toying with him for a while, almost flying into a cliff in the process. End of the Road!

- Power of the Primes "Duocon Dreadwing" is a combination of the jet modes of Power of the Primes Dreadwind and Blackwing. Both figures' guns can be attached, as can one of the Prime Armors (Blackwing's transformation blocks the port for his Prime Armor). It's held together by a single 5mm peg, which makes it a little floppy and prone to coming apart. Care should be taken when holding it to avoid stressing the peg.
