Gyronian Sentry
From Transformers Wiki
- The Gyronian Sentries are Autobots and Decepticons originally from the Generation 1 continuity family.
Gyronian Sentries are, in theory, intensely loyal to Gyronia. Autobots who join the Gyronian Sentries are asked to abandon their appearance and identity as a show of their devotion. Most carry a Sorque Suspension Phaser that stuns a target by seizing their internals, but the growing Decepticon threat has inspired some of them to upgrade to a larger model.
So much of their processor is dedicated to following orders that it would be a simple task indeed to switch the direction of their loyalty with some sort of device.

While out walking one day, a hapless Gyronian Sentry was seized by Megatron's Robosmasher. Though he struggled, in mere moments it had altered his programming to serve the Decepticon cause. The machine released its victim, work complete, and the newly programmed Decepticon affirmed his allegiance to Megatron. Megatron was pleased, and went on to use the device on the Constructicons.
