Headcannon is an Autobot from the Wings Universe portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.

Two face cannons! Top that, Lockdown!

Headcannon has cannons in lieu of a face. He is a mighty warrior, but he is also a writer of his own "botfiction" about the works of Crosscut.

Fiction

In 2984, Headcannon was hanging out at the Galadria Space Bridge Outpost in the Delta Prysmos Sector when a pirate ship appeared overhead and dropped a bomb on him and several other passersby. Hoist the Flag

Headcannon is based on the mecha toy Bonaparte Tulcas [sic] (ボナパルトタルカス) from Takatoku Toys' Special Armored Battalion Dorvack (特装機兵ドルバック) line, which Hasbro originally planned to license as a Deluxe Vehicle for 1985 The Transformers line,^[1] along with fellow Dorvack figures "Mugen Calibur" and "Ovelon Gazzette". [sic] These latter two became Roadbuster and Whirl respectively, but Bonaparte Tulcas was ultimately excluded from Transformers, perhaps due to its unconvincing robot mode.
At the BotCon 2014 "From Japan with Love" panel, a proposed name for this character was given as Landfire.
A configuration based on Bonaparte Tulcas is seen as an alternate form for Tankor in Legends: Bonus Edition Vol. 3.
Headcannon's name, given via the Facebook edition of Ask Vector Prime, is a pun on "head canon", a synonym for personal canon.
