Holokey

A holokey is an ancient piece of Cybertronian technology with an unknown range of powers. By triggering it with various stimuli, it's capable of projecting holograms, serves as a key, and also has some sort of power over matter itself.

After concealing a cache of Tox-En in Ireland, an ancient Autobot stored clues to its whereabouts on a holokey. The holokey was found in modern times in an archeological dig by Finn O'Reilly, who took it to Heatwave for help. The holokey projected Cybertronian text, leading Finn and the bots to a series of locations around Ireland until they ultimately reached the Giant's Causeway. After breaching the chamber holding the chest of Tox-En, Hot Shot used the key to open it, expecting treasure. The Rescue Bots were able to secure the Tox-En with Finn's help, at which point the holokey projected holograms explaining the substance's origins, and also released some sort of energy wave which resealed the chamber.
