Major Mayhem
From Transformers Wiki
- Major Mayhem is a Decepticon-allied Cyclone Mini-Con from the Robots in Disguise portion of the Aligned continuity family.
Who could ask for a better grunt than Major Mayhem? Don't let the small size of this Cyclone Mini-Con and his identical brethren fool you; unlike their feral comrades, they're disciplined, armed to the teeth with weaponry, and boast military training that far exceeds that of the other Cyclones. They're not big on speaking, and mostly just chant "hut hut hut" ad nauseum.
They will also follow any order given by their commander Stockade, because who knows what he'll do to them if they step out of line? It'd be a more agreeable arrangement if Stockade didn't treat them as disposable cannon fodder; for all his tactical brilliance, Stockade's strategies mostly revolve around numerical superiority–i.e., sending hordes of the little guys at his foes.
Lots of them exist, so arresting them was probably a big challenge.

Several platoons of Mini-Cons led by Major Mayhem accompanied Stockade in an attempt to break into one of Windblade's many weapon caches on Earth. Finding themselves unable to penetrate the cache's defenses, the small army instead lay in wait for the Autobots to respond to the base's security alert. Once Windblade and the rest of the Autobots' stealth team arrived to investigate, Stockade ordered his troops forward. Though the Mini-Cons were successful in both splitting up the Autobots' forces and injuring Drift, the enemy managed to seal up the cache once more, putting it again out of Stockade's reach. With the Autobots trapped in three separate locations, Stockade gave them an ultimatum; surrender the weapons or be destroyed. Drift was the first to respond, claiming that the cache he was holed in also contained a doomsday device, which he would activate should the Decepticons continue their assault. Stockade ordered Major Mayhem to scan the cache to confirm Drift's claim, only to find the Autobot was bluffing.
Sideswipe, Jetstorm, and Slipstream were next to respond, claiming to want to exchange their freedom for valuable information on all Autobots stationed on Earth. A patrol of Mini-Cons were sent out to bring the trio to their commander, only for Sideswipe to ambush the Decepticons by concealing the Autobot Mini-Cons on his arms, and launching them onto the unsuspecting platoon. This sucker-punch gave him the edge needed to take out all of the Major Mayhems sent to fetch him. Sideswipe and the Mini-Cons moved next to take out the Mini-Cons keeping Windblade and Optimus Prime trapped in a bunker, and took them down this group due course as well.
Stockade's troop now sufficiently trimmed down, the Autobots moved to assist Drift, though they were too late to stop the Mini-Cons from disabling the force field that had kept the Decepticons at bay. However, Drift put the weapons in the cache to good use, knocking offline the Major Mayhems as they attempted to get to him. Once the grunts had all been taken care of, Optimus bested Stockade, and the Mini-Con army was taken back to Denny Clay's scrapyard to be held in stasis pods alongside their commanding officer. - Decepticon Hunter Bumblebee Vs. Major Mayhem (Mini-Con Battle Pack, 2016)
- Part of the second wave of Mini-Con Battle Packs, Major Mayhem transforms from a mechanical spheroid into a green robot. As a Cyclone Mini-Con, he is designed to be launched from the Deployer Crazybolt and Overload toys. He has multiple indents that look like Mini-Con armor attachment points, but he does not actually come with any armor. For some reason, his head is attached to a hinge which allows his head to point skyward but otherwise doesn't seem to serve any purpose.
- He was only available in a two-pack with the basic-sized "Decepticon Hunter" Bumblebee... making him kind of expensive to army-build.
- This mold was also used to make Volcano.
