Talk:Sector Seven
From Transformers Wiki
I swear this site and its videos are like Command & Conquer in cheesiness. --FFN 07:05, 25 March 2007 (UTC)
This needs a category. Say, what's the category name for Movie stuff gonna be? Just "Movie"? --KilMichaelMcC 07:20, 25 March 2007 (UTC)
- The S.H.I.E.L.D. article is listed in 'Spies', but I'd prefer something like 'Organisations.' Do we have an organisation category? If not, I think we need one, since there's quite a few human organisations in TF. --FFN 07:25, 25 March 2007 (UTC)

Page Move
I cam recommending moving this page to Sector Seven (which is currently a redirect to here) since the spelled-out version appears to be it's formal name, eeven thought he number is frequently used for abbreviation.
I'm making this a formal move discussion because-- dude-- there's LOTS of links involved. -Derik 19:06, 14 June 2007 (UTC)
- Yeah, this has occurred to me as well. I agree on moving it. --KilMichaelMcC 19:27, 14 June 2007 (UTC)
- Then I request that- er- User:Steve-o do so (since he'll have to fix all the links anyway, it might as well be done all at once.) -Derik 19:34, 14 June 2007 (UTC)
- Done. Although I can't figure out why there's one remaining reference to the game page from the main movie page. The characters "sector" don't appear in it anywhere. It must be included in something I'm not noticing. --Steve-o 22:38, 16 June 2007 (UTC)
Sector Seven-aligned toys
Some of the Movie basic repaints bear the Sector Seven logo, suggesting they are stand-ins for vehicles S7 might use in fiction. I think we should have a Sector Seven category so we can later list the S7 humand and TFs/robots/mechs/doohickies in it. --FFN 15:39, 7 April 2007 (UTC)
- I agree that there's probably going to be enough Sector Seven related stuff to warrant a category. --KilMichaelMcC 15:42, 7 April 2007 (UTC)
fwiffo... Zelda?
OK, What does the Zelda franchise has to do with anything (the animal symbols have been replaced by some of the Nintendo's game symbols: the triforce one, the light medallion, the water stone,...)
- "Fwiffo" is the Internet nick of a Transfan who posts a lot to the TFLive boards and posts some of the Sector Seven news across Transfan sites. --ItsWalky 15:45, 27 March 2007 (UTC)
- thanks for the info, but that wasn't my question. What I am asking is: does anyone have any idea about why they are making obvious hints to the Zelda franchise?
- Somebody just bought a Wii, I guess. Seriously, its probably just an in-joke of no real meaning. --FFN 17:33, 27 March 2007 (UTC)
- They're pretty generic geometric designs, actually. The Triforce symbol, for instance, is the same as the Blacktron symbol turned upside down. It could just be a coincidence. ...Alternatively, maybe the Sector Seven agent whose password FWIFFO is supposed to be happens to be a Zelda fan. Link, he come to town... --Andrusi 17:38, 27 March 2007 (UTC)
- I am absolutely certain this isn't a coincidence: the first symbol is the Triforce, the second one is the Light Medallion, the third one is the Shadow Medallion and the fourth one is the Naryu Pearl. Well, anyway, you are probably all right that this hasn't much of an importance. I still find that weird.--GUIGUI 18:22, 27 March 2007 (UTC)

Separate page for the ARG?
Well, I had restructured this article to account for the fact that Sector Seven isn't just a game but also an organization that plays a role in the various parts of the Movie story, like the novel and the film itself. Then someone came along and undid that for some reason.
Anwyway, I am now thinking it would be probably be better to make this article about purely about Sector Seven the organization, written in-universe like any other article about a fictional organization. Then to also have a second article, at "Sector Seven (ARG)" or something, that covers the game. Thoughts? --KilMichaelMcC 10:20, 4 April 2007 (UTC)
- I suggest Sector Seven (game). And yes, we need a place to properly distinguish between the organization and the levels of reality/continuity the game represents. (I'm convinced sight-unseen that the upcoming Transformers console game is set in ARG continuity... though i can't prove that.) -Derik 09:56, 6 April 2007 (UTC)
- I created the page for the game. Both that page and this are going to need quite a bit of clean-up work and additional info. --KilMichaelMcC 17:27, 6 April 2007 (UTC)
Pardon the question, but what does "ARG" means (and stand for)?
- Alternate Reality Game- a genre where the gamemasters set up a scenario where the 'real world' you live in isn't what it appears, and interacts w/ you. -21:40, 4 May 2007 (UTC)
The First 7
Where are their names from? -Derik 18:07, 6 April 2007 (UTC)
- In one of the e-mails unlocked by the NBETWO password, the phrase "This ws a dangerous time for us. We do not want to go back to the Ebucehtd Nif scenario." is found, italics mine. There is a website located at ebucehtdnif.ws. (That's Find The Cube, backwards, BTW) and by going there, finding and clicking all the cubes, then hitting the 7 key when the word "seven" appears, this page comes up, containing the list of names, and an e-mail address. --KilMichaelMcC 20:49, 6 April 2007 (UTC)
N.B.E.
I know I've seen it somewhere already, but it's driving me nuts that I can't find it. What exactly does N.B.E. stand for again? As soon as someone has something, it can be added to the N.B.E. page.
"Non-Biological Entity," IIRC. --ItsWalky 14:52, 2 May 2007 (UTC)
Thanks a lot, Walky. Already working on something. Might not have it up for a day or two, but working.
Powers and Rebecca Howard
I recommend we get a move on in creating articles for these characters, since the videos are only available on the S7 website which may be taken down sooner or later by Paramount, and once they're gone, they're gone. --FFN 14:29, 25 February 2008 (UTC)
- Yes, if only someone had ripped all the files off the site and put them together in a 217 megabyte .rar... -Derik 14:44, 25 February 2008 (UTC)
- I was not aware of that, but hey, I ain't gonna download that. My connection is crap. --FFN 14:55, 25 February 2008 (UTC)

Easter eggs
I was pokign through my high-rest of the movie for fun, and among the document-descriptions of the stull Frenzy downloads from Air Force 1 are these two gems;
- Sector Seven coddles naturalists in the name of Nat'l security
- Scientist finds link between Atmospherium and Iceman project
-Derik 05:01, 19 May 2009 (EDT)
Sector 12 and Sector 19 get their own pages, but Sector 7 doesn't even get a footnote on the Sector Seven page? Would it be better if i create a Sector 7 (BW) page and give it and Sector Seven disambiguation links? --Rhymus (talk) 20:58, 19 May 2014 (EDT)
