Yukimura was invited by his friend Tracks to appear on "Q-Transformers Radio" and teach the Transformers how to make their franchise as popular as his own Sengoku Basara series. After introducing himself, he was asked to describe the Basara games, but his description sounded so practiced that his interviewers started wondering if he was reading from a script. Asked what he thought was the difference between Q-Transformers and his own franchise, he responded "bushido", but not knowing what robots were, got confused by Lockdown's admittal that robots don't have any bushido. When Lockdown compared them to Sengoku Basara''s Tadakatsu Honda, Yukimura said that while Honda was strong, he was not mechanical, then was confused again when Lockdown brought up Honda's in-game voice samples. The Road to Borrowing Popularity from Sengoku Basara Prowl later mentioned Yukimura while introducing Kazumi Araiwa, calling him an acquaintance of Yukimura's lord.
