Zark

Zark is a Decepticon from the Wings Universe portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.

"Zark" is a relative of Maladroid warlord Zardak.

Fiction

Early in the Great War, Zardak's relative was troubling the Autobots' Centry Quadrant. At a Decepticon War Council meeting, Zardak gave a prepared speech about this campaign just before Deathsaurus's delegate Falcon unwittingly assassinated everyone at the meeting. A Team Effort

The Maladroids were inspired by the 1980s Convertors toyline from Select. Zark was a small version of the Takatoku Toys Macross VF-1S Valkyrie toy, coming in two versions. One was a straight re-release of Roy Focker's machine from Macross while the second was a U.S.-original red deco affixed with colourful stickers. A larger version of the Valkyrie plus Super Pack was released as Jetfire by Hasbro.
Though Select's Convertors lacked any tie-in media, packaging bios described Zardak and Zark as brothers, hence the Easter egg reference in "A Team Effort".
