Ellen J. Stockstill is Assistant Professor of English at Penn State Harrisburg. She earned her M.A. and Ph.D. from Georgia State University and her B.A. from the University of Texas at Arlington. She specializes in British literature produced in the nineteenth century and is particularly interested in the ways Britons understood and described imperial power during that period. Her research and teaching interests include Victorian literature, postcolonial and feminist theories, gender studies, public scholarship, STEM and humanities collaboration, and community-based learning.
