Sonny Koko

Raised in the backstreets of Birmingham, music was a release to Sonny Koko from his everyday environment. Turning his head from the crime he soon developed a passion for music that quickly grew, practising and self teaching on his belt drive vinyl decks he soon obtained skills as a mixer & selector that he took from his bedroom to school winning DJ competitions, his reputation as a DJ, started to be known. This is when Sonny realised that he had a talent that he wanted to pursue; he started contributing to pirate radio stations which then led to throwing very successful student parties to showcase his work as a DJ, the success of the parties hitting capacity all year round led to Sonny's reputation as a DJ being even more
