Cyberpunk’s been in need of more drum & bass, and conversely drum & bass could do with more prolific female neurofunk producers. Enter: Skellytn. As the first female to ever release a D&B album in North America (2022’s Neurocomputer on Reid Speed’s Play Me Records), as well as the first female to release on neuro heavy hitters Eatbrain, Skellytn has a complex and technically tight style that will have fans believing she may actually be the villainous megacorporation she supports with her brand. A graduate of the famous Los Angeles production school Icon Collective, Skellytn credits the LA underground scene in which she grew up as well as electronica icons like Skrillex and Noisia for inspiring her to learn to make music.
