Faber (Berlin)

Rooted in Berlin's underground music scene, Faber's musical approach is still one-of-a-kind. His design conveys mixed emotions, playing with your basic instincts and deepest thoughts. Overthinking completely the concept of tempo, the downbeat of all tracks originates from the "downtempo" genre but in fact the contrasting and driving rhythmic structure dominates the experience. The melodic emphasis in all tracks is certainly influenced by his classical music education but was shaped and transformed throughout the years by his passion for electronic music. In many productions, his characteristic vocals, pitched and transformed beyond recognition, often seem to follow his own language and are one key component to create a diverse emotional pattern.
