Sol Pillars

Liam (aka Sol Pillars) is a drum and bass producer and DJ based in Johannesburg, South Africa: The small yet rich hub of underground music in the country. After being exposed to what was Johannesburg’s weekly drum and bass installment in 2014 (Addictshun) he developed an insatiable desire to get to know what the sound of what “drum and bass” was all about. From here his curiosity led him to begin producing his own music and set him on the path to eventually playing at the party that introduced him to the sound and go further. Sol Pillars is focused on soaking up what makes the ravers tick, and creating experiences that last in the mind: through his sets, production and constant experience on the front line of rave culture.
