The moment he set foot at his first rave in the early 1990's Gino Russo heard his calling. With a fanatical devotion he became a disciple of Toronto's underground electronic music scene. He soon after tried his hand on the turntables and over the ensuing years affiliated himself with the local dj culture by spinning in various clubs and venues throughout the city, all the while developing a tech, funky house bass driven sound infused with a heavy dose of percussive elements. Compelled to create his own music, Gino turned his attention to the production side of things, taking the time to hone and refine his producing and mixing skills which have combined to formulate his signature sound.
