Bert Pleng

Bert Pleng’s passion for London’s underground club scene and fascination with the Acid House cultural revolution led him to drop out of university to start work for a TV company. After much perseverance, he eventually progressed to making live music shows for BBC and Channel 4, flying around the world to interview artists as diverse as The Beastie Boys, Aretha Franklin, Green Day and Beyonce. Bert finally got a chance to begin his own music production career in 2020 while living in Koh Samui, Thailand. DJ/Producer Armando Mendes showed him how to use Ableton Live, inspiring Bert to study more music production courses online. Returning to the UK in 2022, Bert studied at Point Blank Music School in East London and released his debut track, Mustafarr, a collaboration with Loingsigh
