Kate Watts

Kate Watts is a powerhouse vocalist, social activist, and abstract artist who is redefining the rules of self-expression and shattering the glass ceilings that have long confined women in the music industry. Growing up in rural New South Wales, Kate experienced the repression and restraints often faced by independent female artists. In 2021, after five years of lying dormant, she launched "The New Era," a bold campaign that allowed her to break free from these shackles and step into the Pop landscape as a woman fully embracing her artistic power. Kate's musical journey began in 2012 when she founded, wrote for, and managed the blues/folk band The Blue Ruins. The trio quickly gained traction, touring Australia and performing over 500 shows, including appearances at major festivals like Byron Bay Blues
