There are undeniable affinities between O'o and its ornithological namesake, the Ō'Ō, a bird native to Hawaii, famous for the melody of its song and its mysterious harmonies. But while the unfortunate bird now belongs to the past, the story is just beginning for the duo whose career started in Barcelona where they lived for several years. Their first album "Touche" was released in 2022 on the demanding InFiné label. Composed of Victoria Suter and Mathieu Daubigné, childhood friends, the duo mixes experimental pop, electronics, and French chanson, in both French and English. Their music features a unique and quirky blend that recalls the lyrical accents of Kate Bush, the dreaminess of Björk, or the groove of Little Dragon. Their music stands out for its vocal inventiveness and polished production.
