pørtl

pørtl is an electronic music duo formed by Jan Lüftner and Jonas Obermüller, whose sound is a unique blend of experimental electronics with the raw authenticity of acoustic elements. The duo’s signature sound ranges from almost ambient to pulsating rhythmic tracks and features field recordings and the use of analog synthesizers and felt pianos. Both grew up in the Black Forest area and know each other from a very young age and are also playing in the post-rock band There's A Light. Sharing a passion for electronic music and production they combine all their experiences in music together creating a new and unique sound in pørtl. The Duo meets up regularly for studio sessions to develop new pørtl tracks and explore new ways to shape their sound. Their debut ep
