     Charles Michael Wentworth Noel-Hill, 9th Baron Berwick of Attingham was born on 4 March 1897.1 He was the son of Reverend Charles Noel-Hill and Edith Mary Benson.1 He died on 27 January 1953 at age 55, unmarried.1
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Shropshire Light Infantry.2 He held the office of Aide-de-Camp to the Viceroy of India.2 He succeeded as the 9th Baron Berwick of Attingham, co. Shropshire [G.B., 1784] on 12 June 1947.3
     On his death, his peerage became extinct.3

     Reverend Charles Noel-Hill was born on 18 February 1848.2 He was the son of Hon. Charles Arthur Wentworth Harwood Noel-Hill and Catherine Mary Adams.1 He married Edith Mary Benson, daughter of Reverend Riou George Benson and Mary Brooke, on 6 October 1891.2 He died on 18 November 1911 at age 63.1
     He graduated from Exeter College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)2 He was the Rector at Stockton, Shropshire, EnglandG.2

     Edith Mary Benson was born in 1862 at Church Stretton, Shropshire, England.2 She was the daughter of Reverend Riou George Benson and Mary Brooke.1,2 She married Reverend Charles Noel-Hill, son of Hon. Charles Arthur Wentworth Harwood Noel-Hill and Catherine Mary Adams, on 6 October 1891.3
     From 6 October 1891, her married name became Noel-Hill.3

     Hon. Charles Arthur Wentworth Harwood Noel-Hill was born on 22 April 1811.2 He was the son of Richard Noel-Hill, 4th Baron Berwick of Attingham and Frances Maria Mostyn-Owen.3 He married Catherine Mary Adams, daughter of Charles Marsh Adams, on 29 August 1846.2 He died on 2 June 1853 at age 42.1
