Sarah Grant was the daughter of Thomas Grant.2 She married Reverend Robert Day Denny, son of Sir Edward Denny, 3rd Bt. and Elizabeth Day, on 14 June 1833.1 She died on 23 September 1839.1

Sir Robert Arthur Denny, 5th Bt. was born on 23 July 1838.1 He was the son of Reverend Robert Day Denny and Sarah Grant.2 He married Jane Kirton, daughter of Thomas Kirton, in 1872.1 He died on 24 November 1921 at age 83, without issue.1
He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the 22nd Regiment.1 He succeeded as the 5th Baronet Denny, of Castle Moyle, co. Kerry [I., 1782] on 13 June 1889.1

He was founder of the City of Calgary, Canada.1 He was Captain and Inspector of the Royal North-West Mounted Police.1 He was Commissioner and Police Magistrate at CanadaG.1 He served in suppression of the Riel Rebellion.1 He was Archivist and Keeper of Records to the Government of Alberta.1 He succeeded as the 6th Baronet Denny, of Castle Moyle, co.
