Mountiford Westropp was the son of Mountifort Westropp and Frances Taylor.2 He married Elizabeth Bury in 1684.2 He died between 25 January 1722 and 12 May 1726.2 His will was proven (by probate) on 12 May 1726.2
On 23 June 1703 he purchased Attyflin from the Commisioners at Chichester House.2 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) in 1709.2 He lived at Kilkerin, County Clare, IrelandG.1 His last will was dated 25 January 1722.2
