     Reverend Charles Augustus Samuel Morgan was born on 2 September 1800.1 He was the son of Lt.-Col. Sir Charles Morgan, 2nd Bt. and Mary Margaret Stoney.1 He married Frances Lascelles, daughter of Rowley Lascelles, on 20 April 1837.1 He died on 5 September 1875 at age 75.1
     He held the office of Chancellor of Llandaff Cathedral.1 He was the Rector at Machen, Monmouthshire, WalesG.1
