Sir David Alexander Kinloch of Gilmerton, 11th Bt. was born on 20 February 1856.2 He was the son of Sir Alexander Kinloch of Gilmerton, 10th Bt. and Lucy Charlotte Anstruther.2 He married Elinor Lucy Bromley Davenport, daughter of William Bromley Davenport and Augusta Elizabeth Campbell, on 25 November 1897.2 He died on 27 October 1944 at age 88.2
