Rt. Hon. William Dudley Ward was born on 14 October 1877.2 He was the son of William Humble Dudley Ward and Hon. Eugenie Violet Adele Brett.1,2 He married Winifred May Birkin, daughter of Colonel Charles Wilfred Birkin and Claire Lloyd Howe, on 9 July 1913.1 He and Winifred May Birkin were divorced in 1931.1 He died on 11 November 1946 at age 69.2
He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, EnglandG.2 He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, EnglandG, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Southampton between 1906 and 1922.2 He held the office of Treasurer to the Household between 1909 and 1912.2 He was a practising barrister.2 He held the office of Parliamentary Private Secretary between 1912 and 1917, to the Patronage Secretary.2 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Commander in the Royal Naval Volunteer Reserve.2 He held the office of Vice-Chamberlain of the Household between 1917 and 1922.2 He was appointed Privy Counsellor (P.C.) in 1922.1

Sir Robert Edward Laycock, son of Brig.-Gen. Sir Joseph Frederick Laycock and Katherine Mary Hare, on 24 January 1935 at St. Margaret's Church, Westminster, London, EnglandG.1 She died on 1 December 1999 at age 83.1

Maximillian David Francis Wood, son of Captain Charles Watkins Arthur Harcourt Wood, on 30 December 1911.1 She married, thirdly, Charles Evelyn Seymour, son of Sir George Evelyn Seymour and Evelyn Elizabeth Campbell, on 25 March 1919.1 She died on 1 November 1950.1
