Arthur Lodge Productions produced Industry on Parade from October 1,1953 until the series ended in the 1960s. Each episode was produced, written, directed, and narrated by Lodge. By 1955, the Peabody Award-winning show was being telecast in seventy-six of the seventy-eight United States television markets. (English)

The Industry on Parade Film Collection, 1950-1960, is comprised of 428 reels of thirteen and a half minute long 16mm black and white composite optical track (sound) motion picture film prints and one document box of episode descriptions.,,, It should be noted that each film reel does not have a corresponding episode description and many of the later episodes were not donated to the National Museum of American History. The films have been organized chronologically in the order they were produced and broadcast by the National Association of Manufacturers. The episode descriptions, which accompanied the film reels as they were sent to stations for broadcast and other venues for screening, are organized in the same manner. (English)

Industry on Parade was a long-running series of films produced by the National Association of Manufacturers that were syndicated to local stations beginning in October 1950. The series ended in 1960 after hundreds of films highlighting the impact of manufacturing on all aspects of everyday life: agriculture, medicine, business, entertainment, among others. (English)
