Motivation

CPDOC is a great resource of data about brazilian politicians. A lot of information can be scrapped from the site (wich I have done mostly manually, but some dedication to code could facilitate), for example place of birth (P19), place of death (P20), date of birth (P569), date of death (P570), position held (P39) etc. Ederporto (talk) 16:10, 7 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

(moved from description): CPDOC ('Centro de Pesquisa e Documentação de História Contemporânea do Brasil in portuguese or Center for Research and Documentation of Contemporary History of Brazil in english) is a major center for teaching and research in Social Sciences and Contemporary History and holds a huge collection (about 1.8 million) of audiovisual sources, oral histories and bibliographic articles about public figures of Brazil (judges, parliamentarians and governors etc). I'm proposing the bibliographic one, but there are other resources that could be used as authority control too. ArthurPSmith (talk) 19:10, 7 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
