中將棋最早出現在室町時代，是從大將棋的基礎上改進的日本將棋變體。

基本介紹

  • 12×12格的將棋盤。
  • 棋子共21種，若包含升級棋則28種，各方有46顆棋子。
  • 不同於本將棋，無打入與持駒概念。
  • 若一方擁有太子(醉象的升級)，當其玉將被吃時還不算戰敗。
  • 首先殺死敵方的玉將及太子(如果有的話)的一方獲勝。

奔王無升級
獅子
  • 獅子直向或斜向移動一至兩步，中途可以自由變換方向或越過阻礙，若第一步吃子仍可繼續完成第二步。也就是說獅子具有以下能力。
    • 移動一步至周圍的格子(圖例的藍色格)即停止。
    • 越過任何阻礙直接來到兩步遠的格子(圖例的紅色格)，視為完成兩步。
    • 移動至周圍的空格再返回原格，看似未移動，亦稱「待步」，可當做跳過一回合。
    • 吃掉周圍的棋子再返回原格，看似未移動吃子，亦稱「居食」(日文：居食い)。
    • 吃掉周圍的棋子後再移動至其他格子(圖例的藍色格或紅色格)。
    • 連續吃兩子，即吃掉周圍(圖例的藍色格)的棋子後繼續吃掉其他格子(圖例的藍色格或紅色格)的棋子。
  • 獅子無升級。
  • 為了避免獅子太早被兌換掉而降低遊戲性，中將棋設有以下兌換獅子的限制：
  1. 在任何情況下，獅子都可以吃掉在其周圍(圖例的藍色格)的敵方獅子。
  2. 在任何情況下，獅子都可以吃掉沒有受保護的敵方獅子。
  3. 當敵方的獅子在距離兩步遠的格子(圖例的紅色格)並且有受保護時，己方的獅子只能以連續吃子的方式吃掉它(即吃掉藍色格的棋子再接著吃獅子)，且第一步吃的棋子不能是步兵或仲人，否則仍不能吃敵方獅子。
  4. 如果己方的獅子在前一回合被敵方的獅子吃掉，己方在此回合可以馬上吃敵方的獅子。
  5. 如果己方的獅子在前一回合被敵方非獅子的棋子吃掉，己方在此回合不可以吃敵方的獅子，除非是用另一隻獅子吃敵方獅子。(即己方因為升級而有兩個獅子)
  6. 如果前一回合沒有獅子被吃，任何非獅子的棋子要吃獅子時均無額外限制。
  7. 以上規則對從麒麟升級成的獅子亦適用。

升級規則

  • 接近自己的四行橫列為自陣，接近對手的四行橫列為敵陣。
  • 棋子進入敵陣的該回合可以選擇升級，但並不強制一定要升級。
  • 若進入敵陣時選擇不升級，必須在敵陣內吃子，或重新移出再進入敵陣時才能升級。
  • 不同於本將棋，在敵陣內移動(未吃子)或移出敵陣時並不能升級。
  • 步兵若進入敵陣時未升級必須等走到最底行時才能升級。
  • 不同於本將棋，香車走至底行時若未能升級，並不會強制升級，而是喪失升級權利，成為死駒(死に駒)。
