A Magma Admin (Japanese: マグマだんかんぶ Team Magma Executive) is a type of Pokémon Trainer that first debuted in the Generation III games. Magma Admins can come in either gender.

The title has only specifically referred to two characters: Tabitha and Courtney. They are the subleaders of Team Magma under Maxie.

They tend to specialize in Fire- and Ground-type Pokémon, namely Numel and Camerupt.

In the Pokémon Adventures manga, Blaise is also another Magma Admin, and the three of them make up the Three Fires.

Tabitha in the anime

Only one Magma Admin, Tabitha, ever appeared in the anime. He made his debut along with Aqua Admin Shelly in A Three-Team Scheme, where he was mistakenly referred to as "Field Commander Harlan" in the English dub; this was corrected in subsequent episodes. He led a squad on a mission to Dewford Island to find the Cave of Origin. It was revealed that he was carrying the Blue Orb (mistakenly referred to as the "Indigo Orb" in the English dub) with him at the time, though it was never shown onscreen.

Tabitha appeared several other times throughout Pokémon the Series: Ruby and Sapphire in command of Team Magma Grunts: at the Oceanic Museum in The Spheal of Approval and at Mt. Chimney in Fight for the Meteorite!. His final appearance was in Gaining Groudon and The Scuffle of Legends, where he witnessed the battle between Kyogre and Groudon. Like the rest of Team Magma, he is not seen again after these episodes.

Pokémon Adventures

Ruby & Sapphire arc

There are three admins of Team Magma known collectively as the Three Fires (Japanese: 三頭火 Three Head Fires). Courtney and Tabitha are directly based on their game counterparts while Blaise is exclusive to Pokémon Adventures. They collectively serve as the second-in-commands to Maxie.

The members of the Three Fires has a special memory-recording lighter in the horns of their outfits than can burn the memories of its holder onto paper. The three lighters can also link up and mix their memory data with each other. Each member also utilizes a different aspect of fire, with Tabitha using smoke to incapacitate opponents, Courtney using flames to create fires, and Blaise using heat to cause his opponents to hallucinate.

Throughout the Ruby & Sapphire arc, the Three Fires succeed in retrieving the Scanner to locate the Red and Blue Orbs and also capture Captain Stern and his assistant, Dock in order to obtain the Submarine Explorer 1. Together with the Aqua Admins, they attempt to prevent the Hoenn Gym Leaders from stopping Kyogre and Groudon, though they are ultimately unsuccessful.

In the arc's conclusion, Tabitha and Courtney begin normal lives, whereas Blaise begins a new quest to reawaken Groudon.

Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire arc

Blaise returns to Team Aqua's Lilycove Headquarters and unexpectedly encounters Amber. The manga-exclusive counterparts eventually strike a deal to work together, and force Hoopa to summon Kyogre and Groudon, so that they would be able to trace their respective leaders' whereabouts. It is then revealed that "Courtney" and "Tabitha" were merely codenames for the game-based Magma Admins; two characters based on Courtney and Tabitha in Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire are introduced as co-operators with Zinnia.
