Pokémon world locations |
Ramanas Park (Japanese: ハマナスパーク Hamanasu Park) is an area in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, replacing Pal Park from Pokémon Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum. It can be only accessed after the player obtains the National Pokédex from Professor Oak and enters the Hall of Fame, and is inaccessible in versions of the game prior to the version 1.1.0 update.
Features
- The location's layout is similar to that of Pal Park; however, numerous small cave entrances are dotted around the area. Each leads to a small room with a pedestal. Surf is required to reach both the Oceanic Room and the Tectonic Room.
- Upon obtaining specific slate items and inserting one into a corresponding pedestal, the player will encounter a Legendary Pokémon. They can be encountered in either Pure Space (Legendary birds, Legendary beasts, Legendary giants, and Eon duo) or Strange Space (Mewtwo, tower duo, super-ancient Pokémon, and Origin Forme Giratina).
- After a Legendary Pokémon is captured, a statue of it will appear in its room. Upon next entering the lobby, the player will be given a statue of the same Pokémon by the worker near the door.
- Once every Legendary Pokémon in a room has been caught, the pedestal will permanently have a slate stuck inside of it, preventing the player from encountering any more. If the Legendary Pokémon is defeated, or if the player loses or flees from the battle, a statue will not appear and the Legendary Pokémon can be fought again by inserting another slate.
- Since Giratina cannot be caught, defeating it will cause its statue to appear and its slate to be stuck in its pedestal.
