There is no indication that this topic is notable. Searching for sources doesn't turn up anything other than the resort's website. The article also has a link that appears to be to a former tourism promotion website, but it's a dead link and a promotional source, not an independent reliable source. (There is a flooded slate quarry nearby that has the same name, so don't get confused which topic this is about.

Remove PROD as the concerns were the lack of sources and dead links in the article at the time. I have since added some sources and archive links, although an AfD may be set up to discuss more whether it is truely notable. A merger into Bluestone, Pembrokeshire should at least be considered as an alternative.

The following is a closed discussion of a requested move. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on the talk page. The result of the move request was: Blue Lagoon Water Park moved to Blue Lagoon Water Park, Pembrokeshire, Blue Lagoon (waterpark) moved to Blue Lagoon, Queensland. This was a tricky discussion to analyze, as many different titles were proposed and many participants were amenable to a variety of options. My read of the consensus is as follows:

For the park in Pembrokeshire, the only two proposed titles to attract significant support were Blue Lagoon Water Park, Pembrokeshire and Blue Lagoon (Bluestone). Over the course of the discussion, comma-disambiguated titles came to be preferred over parenthetical disambiguation; it was highlighted that parenthetical disambiguation is dispreferred under WP:APARKS, and that comma disambiguation is more WP:CONSISTENT with other placenames in Commonwealth countries. Later participants in the discussion also showed no interest in incorporating "Bluestone" into the title. Thus, Blue Lagoon Water Park, Pembrokeshire achieved consensus.

For the park in Queensland, Blue Lagoon (Dreamworld) attained some early support; however, much of its support base was rooted in analogy with the proposed title of Blue Lagoon (Bluestone). Thus, since consensus supported omitting "Bluestone" from the Pembrokeshire park's title, Blue Lagoon (Dreamworld) was not left with a substantial support base. In its place, a rough consensus emerged around Blue Lagoon, Queensland, which uses the comma disambiguation preferred under WP:APARKS and follows the consensus that the term "water park" is unnecessary in the title of the Queensland attraction. – The titles of these two articles are ambiguous with each other. Other alternative titles may be reasonable, such as Blue Lagoon, Bluestone National Park Resort for the one in Wales and Blue Lagoon, Dreamworld for the one in Australia. Note that at least one of the cited sources for the Pembrokeshire topic (Western Telegraph) calls it "Blue Lagoon waterpark", so the presence or absence of a space character in "waterpark" is not sufficient for disambiguation purposes. Both water parks are also frequently referred to simply as "Blue Lagoon". However, please note that there is also another "Blue Lagoon" topic in Abereiddy, Pembrokeshire, and I think both that one and the waterpark are within the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park (but only one of them is part of the Bluestone National Park Resort). —⁠ ⁠BarrelProof (talk) 18:55, 29 December 2022 (UTC) — Relisting. If the Pembrokeshire location is associated with a park/resort (which it is), then it could be "Blue Lagoon (Bluestone)" - this naming is demonstrated in a similar water park article, Six Flags Hurricane Harbor (Darien Lake). Comment. Blue Lagoon (Dreamworld) and Blue Lagoon (Bluestone) are probably the best options. Although I am wondering whether they would be better off being merged into the articles on the parent resorts. -- Necrothesp (talk) 15:44, 4 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

That's not necessarily true, at least not as the common name in the cited sources. It just doesn't stand up to scrutiny. I just looked at the first six cited sources, and none of them fully consistently uses "Blue Lagoon Water Park" as the name of the park:

This one only refers to it once, using "Blue Lagoon waterpark" (lowercase and only one word for "waterpark").
This one is using "Blue Lagoon Water Park" twice and "Blue Lagoon" by itself once.
This one uses "Blue Lagoon" by itself, with "Blue Lagoon Indoor Water Park" in the headline (and the "Indoor" before "Water Park" clearly destroys the proper noun idea).
this one clearly only calls it just "Blue Lagoon" (five times, except in one place when quoting the park promoter, and what the park promoter uses in a quote shouldn't really count when evaluating what an independent source is doing).
This one clearly only calls it just "Blue Lagoon".
This one has one "Blue Lagoon Water Park" and one "Blue Lagoon", so it's mixed.

Wikipedia prefers concise common names over longer, possibly more official ones. Maybe we should include "Water Park" outside of parentheses in the title, but I don't think we should feel obligated to do that. (In my original proposed titles, I did include it.)

Support moving Blue Lagoon (waterpark) to either Blue Lagoon (Queensland waterpark) or Blue Lagoon (Dreamworld); oppose moving to Blue Lagoon waterpark (Queensland). Support the comma versions, so Blue Lagoon Water Park, Pembrokeshire and Blue Lagoon waterpark, Queensland or Blue Lagoon, Queensland as commas seem more common for sub-divisions and the current title of the QLD is indeed against WP:APARKS If the need for disambiguation arises, look for a natural disambiguation option over a parenthetical option. "Water Park" is needed for the Pem one, to separate from the flooded quarry, and seems "Water Park" is more common above, and used by bluestonewales.com. "waterpark" is not necessarily needed for the QLD one (so Blue Lagoon, Queensland), as it is the only BL in QLD, but using "waterpark" for the QLD one, as currently, can be used to distinguish from this one, although dreamworld.com.au used "Blue Lagoon water park" so could be spaced. I believe sub-divisions (counties/states) should be used over the resort names as to be more helpful to readers, although not opposed to using the resort names in parenthesis instead of Water Park. "Water Park"/"waterpark" could be standardised to water park for both, as used on its article, if merely being a descriptor rather than part of any official name.
