Africa is one of Earth's largest continents, second only to Asia. Most of north Africa is covered in the massive Sahara Desert, and contains countries such as Egypt and the Socialist Democratic Federated Republic of Carbombya. In contrast, the middle of Africa has plenty of deep jungles and rainforests, and is where you can find Kenya and the island nation Madagascar. Southern Africa, which has a fairly varied terrain, contains Zambia, Namibia, Zimbabwe, Angola and South Africa.

The Decepticons invaded North Africa, leading to intense fighting. The Gathering Darkness

Generation 2 Annual

After planting a spaceship on Table Mountain in Africa, the Autobots tricked the Decepticons into entering it, after which the Autobots shot the vessel into space. Day of the Decepticons

Beast Wars cartoon

The Axalon and Darksyde appeared to have crash-landed somewhere in Africa at the beginning of the Beast Wars. The Maximals' alternate forms were all native to the continent; cheetahs, rhinos, rats are all found there, and gorillas are exclusive to Africa. Likewise, the human race emerged from Africa, making it the likely candidate for the location of the valley which the Predacons attacked in their first attempt to change history. Code of Hero

However, since both the Maximals and Predacons were capable of relatively quick long-distance travel Fallen Comrades The Agenda (Part III), it is not entirely clear where all events of the Beast Wars took place.

Cybertron cartoon

Vector Prime and the kids traveled to an area in the Sahara desert in search of the Omega Lock; they were then pursued by Starscream and Thundercracker. The Lock turned out to be a fake. Time

Titan Revenge of the Fallen comic

Bloemfontein, South Africa held both a NEST maximum security prison and the 2010 World Cup. By law of narrative, the Decepticons broke free of the prison at the same time the cup final was taking place, causing mayhem and forcing the Autobots to let the Decepticons leave. Inside Out!
